What we collect
If you join our email list we collect your email address. If you buy a ticket, our
ticketing provider (TicketSpice) collects your name, email, phone number and payment
details. If you contact us through a form on this site, your message arrives as a
regular email.
What we do with it
- Send you event announcements, schedules and ticket windows
- Check you in at the event and manage class and VIP reservations
-
Text ticket holders about day-of logistics, severe weather or a schedule change
- Answer your questions
What we don't do
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. We don't share your email with sponsors
or vendors. We don't run ad-tracking pixels on this site.
Payments
We never see or store your card details. All payments are processed by TicketSpice
under their own privacy and security terms.
Photography
We photograph and film our events for use on this site and social media. If you'd
rather not appear, let us know at check-in and we'll flag it with our photographers.
Text messages
The phone number you give at checkout is used only for messages about the event you
bought a ticket to — day-of logistics, severe weather and schedule changes. We don't
send marketing texts. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Message and data rates may
apply.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us any time to be
removed from the list or to have your information deleted, and we'll take care of it.
02
Refund & event policy
Refunds
All ticket sales are final. We're a small local event and we commit to
instructors, vendors and equipment based on ticket counts.
Credits to a future Reset
If something comes up, email us at least 7 days before the event and
we'll move your ticket to the next quarterly Reset at no cost. Requests inside 7 days
can't be credited, but you can still transfer your ticket to someone else.
Transfers
Tickets are fully transferable up to 24 hours before the event. Email
us the new attendee's name and email and we'll update the registration. The new
attendee must sign the waiver.
Weather
The Reset is an open-air event and happens rain or shine. If lightning or genuinely
unsafe conditions force a postponement, we'll notify all ticket holders by email and
text message and every ticket will be honored for the rescheduled date. If we can't
reschedule, ticket holders will be offered a credit to the next Reset.
Schedule changes
Classes, instructors, vendors and experiences are subject to change. We'll always
deliver a full morning of programming across all four pillars, but any single class or
vendor may change without notice — that's not grounds for a refund.
Cold plunge & recovery availability
Cold plunge and recovery services are first come, first served for all ticket holders.
We'll run them the full three hours, but availability isn't guaranteed.
Conduct
This is a community event and we want everyone to feel welcome. Harassment,
intoxication, or unsafe behavior gets you removed without a refund. Be good to each
other.
03
Waiver, release & terms
Every attendee accepts these terms at checkout. Summarized here for reference — the
binding version is the one you sign on TicketSpice.
Assumption of risk
The Reset involves physical activity — running, walking, group fitness classes,
strength training, mobility work and cold water immersion. These
activities carry inherent risks including muscle strain, sprains, falls, heat illness,
cold shock, cardiac events and, in rare cases, serious injury or death. You
participate voluntarily and at your own risk.
Medical fitness
You confirm you're physically able to participate in the activities you choose, and
that you've consulted a physician if you have any condition that could be affected.
Do not use the cold plunge if you're pregnant or have a heart
condition, uncontrolled blood pressure, a cold-related disorder such as Raynaud's, or
any condition affected by cold exposure without clearing it with your doctor first.
Release of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Alabama law, you release and hold harmless The
Reset, its organizers, volunteers, instructors, sponsors, vendors, recovery providers,
and the City of Dothan and its parks personnel from any claim arising out of your
participation, including claims based on ordinary negligence.
Minors
Attendees under 18 require a parent or legal guardian to sign on their behalf. Movement
classes are 13+. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Personal property
We aren't responsible for lost, damaged or stolen personal property. Leave valuables at
home.
Media release
You grant The Reset permission to use photos and video in which you appear for
promotional purposes, without compensation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. If any provision is found
unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.

The signed waiver at checkout is the controlling document.
